  • Cell phone recycling – box in student union
  • It is an ongoing “rolling” fundraiser. All ink cartridges are accepted
  • cell phones alone accepted, charges should accompany their phones if possible
  • Car wash with advanced ticketing was suggested as lucrative
- T-shirt Design Contest
  • Designs must be in by midnight SEPTEMBER 25th, 2009

  • 3 miles, and each team member will give $5. Wear an SNA shirt.

-Florida Nursing Students Association Convention
  • October 22nd- 24th, 2009
  • Daytona Beach Resort/Ocean Walk Village
  • Role of a delegate discussed
  • Convention serves 3 purposes;
  1. Legislative meeting – decides organizations stance and policies regarding issues of concern to nurses and nursing students
  2. Professional and personal growth and development sessions
  3. Vendor floor; meet with representatives from nursing schools (graduate programs), employers from around FL and some from GA, and sales and raffles from other schools
  • Table = $10
  • Basket raffle this year
  • We need to present a resolution
  • Personal labels suggested for signing up for raffles and sign ups
- Bosom Buddy Bucks
  • Local Mammogram Hotline through Susan G. Komen of North Florida
  • Class dollar drive for the month of October
  • Bake sale week of October 26th to 30th
  • Beth Dibble started it, and is overseeing the events
  • Nathan has things from last year’s for scrapbook
  • Harris Zelliff would like to get involved, might take leadership position on this project
